Winter Blues

We do not see the sun much here in Norway this time of year so it gets one to thinking about summer. Sunny weather, being outside, not to mention the lack of snow and cold weather. To get out of this winter slump, we worked on planning our summer vacation. Of course we are looking forward to having a great time traveling, and getting some time off work. It is nice to dream about the summer on these cold icy days!

Ordinary Sunday

Today was a perfect day. What exciting things did I do or what exotic places did I go? Nowhere! I stayed home and it was so very nice! I hope you find joy in your ordinary Sunday.

The Swine That Flew

With all this talk about the swine flu I thought I would show you this great gift that a friend of mine gave me! It is a hand carved flying pig, and it is an amazing work of art. I like that old saying “It will happen when pigs fly!” Well, sometimes you just need to work a little harder to make the impossible happen. Sometimes pigs just need a little encouragement to fly and someone to believe in them. So don’t get discouraged, with a little hard work, all things are possible.
